Absolutely! Whether you want a private, group, family, or honeymoon safari, our itineraries are fully tailor-made to suit your travel dates, budget, and preferences.
3. Do you offer both group and private safaris?
Yes. We offer scheduled group tours for 2025 and 2026 as well as private safaris for individuals, families, or small groups looking for a more personalized experience.

4. How do I book a safari with Katella Uganda Safaris?
You can book directly through our website or contact us via our contact page. We’ll guide you through the entire process, from inquiry to confirmation.
5. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments via bank transfer, Visa/MasterCard, and mobile money for local transactions. All payments are secured, and a detailed invoice will be provided.
6. Is a deposit required to confirm my trip?
Yes. A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your safari start date.
7. What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made:
90+ days before the safari: Full refund minus admin fees
30–89 days: 50% refund
Less than 30 days: No refund
We advise purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected changes.

8. What type of accommodation do you use?
We offer a range of options including budget, mid-range, and luxury lodges. You can choose your preferred level when booking.
9. Is gorilla or chimpanzee trekking included in the tours?
Yes! Many of our Uganda and Rwanda tours include permits for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, but always check the specific itinerary for confirmation.
10. What vehicles do you use for game drives?
We use 4×4 safari vehicles with pop-up roofs for optimal game viewing. Our vehicles are well-maintained and driven by professional guides.

11. Are vaccinations required for travel to East Africa?
Yes. Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for most countries. You may also consider others such as Hepatitis A/B and Typhoid. Please consult your doctor at least 6 weeks before travel.
12. Is it safe to travel with Katella Uganda Safaris?
Your safety is our top priority. We work with experienced local guides, follow all national park regulations, and keep track of local safety advisories at all times.
13. Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel and medical insurance for all guests.

14. Do I need a visa to travel to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, or Rwanda?
Most travelers do. You can apply for visas individually or opt for the East African Tourist Visa (valid for Uganda, Kenya & Rwanda). Always check current requirements based on your nationality.
