On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your Katella Uganda Safaris guide. After a brief introduction, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Nairobi, where you'll spend the night in anticipation of the exciting safari adventure ahead.
Overnight at Eka Hotel or similar. Meal Plan: Bed and Breakfast.
Your safari adventure begins with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel. You will then embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving just in time for a hot lunch at the lodge.
Later in the afternoon, you will set out on an exhilarating afternoon game drive, exploring the park's vast wilderness until evening. Be amazed by Amboseli's incredible African elephant population, boasting over 1,600 of them. Seeing these large herds of elephants plus other wildlife (giraffes, zebras) gives one great photography for a unique and unforgettable experience. Return to your lodge for your overnight stay.

Enjoy an early morning game drive, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures and potential wildlife sightings before the heat of the day. Consider visiting Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park and surrounding areas. You will return to the lodge for a hot lunch. You can choose to relax at your lodge or camp during the hottest part of the day.
Later, have another game drive, perhaps exploring different areas of the park, like the swamps where you might find hippos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a breathtaking photo opportunity, and pass by Lake Naivasha, marveling at the spectacular birdlife.
Arrive at your accommodation just in time for lunch and check-in. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying what the hotel has to offer.
Time permitting, venture into the park on a thrilling game drive, searching for the park's iconic flamingos, as well as rhinos, giraffes, and buffalos. Continue the game drive until sunset, finding a picturesque spot to witness the sunset over the lake. Return to your lodge dinner and overnight stay.

After a hearty breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, a journey of approximately 4-5 hours by road. Have lunch and take some time to relax.
In the afternoon, embark on an unforgettable game drive, exploring the reserve's vast wilderness.
Masai Mara is famed for its incredible biodiversity and wildlife, including the iconic Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos), as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and many more.
As the day comes to a close, find a picturesque spot to witness the breathtaking sunset over the savannah, capturing stunning photographs of the golden light bathing the landscape. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Today, after a hearty breakfast, you’ll set out for an exciting morning game drive in the world- renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, celebrated for its abundant wildlife and picturesque landscapes. As you traverse the vast open plains, be on the lookout for the majestic lions lounging in the grass, stealthy leopards hidden among the trees, and swift cheetahs chasing prey across the savannah.
At noon, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness. Surrounded by the serene beauty of the savannah, you’ll have time to relax and absorb the breathtaking scenery, perhaps spotting wildlife passing by in the distance.
After lunch, the adventure continues with an equally thrilling afternoon game drive. As the sun dips below the horizon, return to the Camp for a sumptuous dinner. Gather around the campfire, sharing stories of the day’s sightings with fellow travelers, before retreating to your tent for a restful overnight stay.
Time permitting, you can engage in these optional activities; Hot air Balloon over the Mara Plains and Masai Village visit.

Wake up early and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Kigali, Rwanda. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by another Katella Uganda Safaris guide.
Your guide will transfer you to your hotel in Kigali, where you'll receive a comprehensive briefing on your upcoming Gorilla trekking adventure.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel, exploring Kigali, or preparing for the exciting journey ahead.

Start the day with a fascinating Kigali City tour. Places to visit include;
- Kigali genocide museum: a deeply moving place to learn about the 1994 genocide and

After the city tour, you will have lunch at a local restaurant then transfer to Ruhengeri for relaxation, dinner and overnight. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Ibiwacu Village, home to the Guardians of the Gorillas. Immerse yourself in local culture, learning about the traditional ways of the Rwandan people. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Embark on a thrilling gorilla trekking adventure in Volcanoes National Park after breakfast. Your guide will navigate the lush rainforest, dense vegetation, and rugged terrain to find majestic mountain gorillas. As you trek (2-7 hours), stay alert for forest sights and sounds. Upon encountering gorillas, observe their intelligence, social behavior, and majestic appearance in their natural habitat. Take photos and cherish this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After spending an hour with the gorillas, descend and visit the Dian Fossey Information Centre to learn about groundbreaking research and conservation efforts protecting these incredible animals. Return to your hotel for lunch and relax or explore nearby villages and scenic landscapes.

This day, you will go for the Golden Monkey trekking adventure at Volcanoes National Park.
