Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Nature Path Travels representative. After a short safari briefing, you will be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and recovering from your journey.

After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the camp. Spend the afternoon at leisure before heading out for an evening game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with packed lunch, or choose morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli offers excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species against the magnificent backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch will be served en route. Arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy a game drive as you proceed to the lodge. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its populations of white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and abundant birdlife. Spend the evening at leisure.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will go for Chimpanzee tracking along the network of forest trails. Seeing habituated chimps squabbling and swinging from the trees is an exhilarating experience. Later in the day, you will have the opportunity to visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, which is rich in bird species, vegetation, and wildlife. This is also a great opportunity to support local tourism initiatives which benefit social and economic development in the area.

Later, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to elephants, lions, hippos, buffalo and baboons. You will take a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, 32 Kms long followed by a game drive. This water system has the highest concentration of Hippos in the world and you will get quite close to them. See also crocodiles, buffalos and other game that drink from the channel, also marvel at the abundant ornitho-life that is supported here.

Overnight at: Twinlakes Safari Lodge or similar. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with packed lunch. Maasai Mara is one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations and is home to the Big Five, abundant plains game, and nearly 500 bird species. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras. Return to the lodge in the evening.

Enjoy another exciting day exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara. Morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day game drive with packed lunch can be arranged. Search for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs, hyenas, and countless other wildlife species. Optional activities such as a Maasai village visit or a hot air balloon safari can also be arranged at an additional cost.

After breakfast, check out and begin your drive back to Nairobi. En route, enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.

This morning you will have breakfast and then go for a walking safari in the Park. Later, proceed to Entebbe having lunch enroute. You will stop at the Equator-where you will be able to stand in both hemispheres simultaneously arriving in Entebbe for overnight.

Overnight at: Karibu Entebbe or similar. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

This day, you will head out to the Mabamba swamp, found on the northern shores of Lake Victoria. It is famed for the shoebill which is the most sought after bird by both the birding and non-birding tourists who are intrigued by its peculiar look and massive size. The wetland is also home to over 300 bird species.

Later, you will head to the airport for your outbound flight.
